FH25 - NNG: 10 years, a long-awaited step

The challenge
Few knew NNG as a beloved and coveted success product called iGO. There was also a dilemma, how do you celebrate yourself so that it's not a casting song - when you don't want to get something, but give it on occasion? Something really valuable. How can you do this so that by increasing interest to the extreme, you generate interest that really gets your gift to everyone?
The solution
The NNG team has decided to make iGO navigation available for Android in Hungary for 10 days, free of charge. What we set out to do:
🔹 Connecting NNG and iGO/Positioning NNG as a cool company and delivering these messages to the technologically affluent Hungarian audience- Download the SzülinApp application in 50.000 copies
🔹 Presentation of the world success story launched from Hungary.
The campaign was ushered in by a consciously constructed teaser section:
🔹 an “accidentally” leaked image of iGO running on Android,
🔹 “discovering” a key navigation blogger and testing it published in a capable report,
🔹 and the appearance of Index on the front page launched the Android community.
This was followed by a birthday press event, an Index major interview with Petya Balogh (then NNG CEO) and an MTI article, a countdown-supported microsite, Petya's viral announcement and download support videos, social and traditional media campaigns — all strung together in a single message:
iGO for Android. Now. For free. Hungary, for you!
Results
🔹 500,000 downloads in 10 days
🔹 More than 700 media views
🔹 the name and history of NNG have become a topic of conversation at the national level
🔹 Creative Prism Gold Award
Why did we love him?
Because:
🔹 client and agency created something quite unique in creative flow,
🔹 the celebration was not self-serving, but created business and brand value,
🔹 and a birthday turned into a real community experience - for an entire country.
We gratefully recall the joint experience with the communication team, which this project meant, the sincere involvement of journalist colleagues and Petya's unforgettable rodeo. Thank you!
